Welcome to Davrland

Beyond Blackwater Lake lies a world of silver forests, floating mountains, impossible creatures, and cities that seem to have grown from the landscape itself. Its people call the realm Avariel. One little girl gave it another name.

Floating Mountains

Vast mountains drift among the clouds, carrying forests, cliffs, and waterfalls that vanish into mist before reaching the ground.

Elarion

A city of white stone, silver trees, graceful bridges, gardens, and towers, where the natural world and civilization seem to have grown together.

Dreams and Nightmares

In Avariel, imagination has consequences. Wonders can become real— and sometimes fears learn to walk.

The World Beyond the Lake

Davrland is the name Emily Parker gives to the realm known by its inhabitants as Avariel. It is a place where the impossible feels strangely natural: enormous flowers bloom beneath silver canopies, drifting lights move through the forests, and creatures from fairy tales may be waiting around the next bend in the road.

“Some things here are born from fear. Unfortunately, some fears learn to walk.”

The Story

Twenty years after eight-year-old Emily Parker vanished near Blackwater Lake, Daniel Kane encounters a girl who should no longer be eight years old. His search for answers leads him through the Door Between Worlds and into a realm where imagination can shape reality itself.

The Door Between Worlds

Hidden among weathered standing stones is a doorway connecting Earth and Avariel. On one side it appears ordinary: white-painted wood, a brass doorknob, and an old-fashioned keyhole. On the other, it is weathered and unpainted, set within a heavy stone frame.

The silver key was never meant to open the crossing. Its purpose was the opposite.
