Loss of vision
- Battle: Vear lost his sight during a violent battle with Agent Thalos aboard a Beta-Class Time Ship, in orbit over Edson during the Middle Edsonian Era (~-1000 AE).
- Escape: Gravely injured but alive, Vear escaped aboard the Aetherion, flinging himself deeper into the past—10,000 years earlier.
- Adapt: Now stranded in ancient Edson and learning to live without physical vision, he became a symbol to the people he protected.
The Visor
- The Gift: The villagers, led by Thomel, gift him a visor as a tribute and sign of trust. The visor contains a Green Crystal.

In the Narrative
- First Contact: The Authority arrives from the future in a massive ship, seen by Kor’s people as gods. In reality, they are descendants of Earth, long dead for over 100,000 years.
- Salvation Program: His people are labeled primitive and slated for “rescue” from a meteor impact predicted to occur in 100 years.
- Resistance: Kor senses danger in their “mercy” and intends to resist but is taken before he can fight back.
- Data Flood Incident: In an Authority lab on the ship, a system malfunction—or unseen manipulation—uploads the entire Authority knowledge archive into Kor’s brain. All others subjected to the process die; only Kor survives.
- Adaptation: Kor pretends to be primitive to hide his intellect, studying in silence.
- Bond Formation: Kor builds a deep friendship with Leia, who slowly discovers his intelligence.
- Secret Projects: He rebuilds her old school tablet, uncovering a hidden Archive containing information absent from the Authority’s upload and discovers the location of the the morphogenic re-sequencer
