Book Three → Sacrifice & Transcendence
The hunt turns forward.
Vear pursues Vel Tharuun in the present, but Elias reveals Annastara’s prison anchors her to the future. Vear and Lyra leap ahead to rescue her and witness the Authority’s fall. Family unity—Vear, Lyra, Annastara—becomes the key to resisting the Devouring Mind’s shadow.
